I am a local business owner here in the Portage Park community and today I want to talk about something that really brings our local community closer together. That of course is the incredible Farmers Market in our beautiful Portage Park Neighborhood.
Starting on June 4th, and running on selected dates until October 1st, we get to enjoy the ever-popular Portage Park Farmers Market. This friendly tradition unites our neighborhood, supports local farmers and also vendors. It offers us a fantastic array of fresh, local produce, homemade crafts, baked goods, and so much more.
You can find the Farmers Market by the corner of Long and Irving Park Road. From 10 AM to 2 PM, this space transforms into a hub of community activity, with friendly faces and the freshest finds in the neighborhood. The dates for this year’s market are as follows:
June 4th, 18th
July 16th, 30th
August 6th, 10th
September 3rd, 17th
October 1st
