Get a Cloud Server
Your AI needs a computer that’s always on. A small cloud server does the job perfectly.
You’ll get an IP address and password. Save these — you’ll need them to connect.
Connect to Your Server
Open a terminal and connect to your new server remotely.
ssh root@YOUR_IPWindows: Use Windows Terminal or PuTTY
Enter your password when prompted. You’re now on your server! 🎉
Install OpenClaw
One command installs everything you need — the AI platform, tools, and setup wizard.
curl -fsSL https://openclaw.bot/install.sh | bash
This installs OpenClaw and starts the onboarding wizard automatically. Follow the prompts!
Get Your AI Brain
Sign up for Anthropic — the company behind Claude, the smartest AI model available.

Create Your Telegram Bot

• Pick a username ending in “bot” (e.g., KarensAssistantBot)
• BotFather gives you a token — copy it!
• Paste the token when the wizard asks for it
Launch & Pair
Start the gateway, send your first message, and approve the secure pairing.
Run openclaw status to verify it’s running.
Open Telegram → Find your bot → Send “Hello!”
You’ll get a pairing code → On your server, run:
openclaw pairing approve telegram YOUR_CODE
